Canada Day…this is a Day packed with Events!
The Pioneer Threshermans Association celebrates Canada Day every 1st of July by organizing a fun-filled day for everyone, regardless of age!
Canada Day celebration is one of our biggest event of the year. Our program consists of regular “old favorites” as well as some new and exciting events each year.
Some of the “Old favorite” activities include: a pancake breakfast, followed by a tractor parade, logging events, blacksmithing, threshing demonstrations, flour grinding, saw milling and much more!
Some of the new games this year are Jeans hanging, Donut eating contest and Nail dropping!
The public can participate in numerous events such as target axe throwing, log chopping, 2-man saw cutting and for some driving an antique tractor in the parade. We have numerous activities for the children such as face painting, a playground, jumping castle and youth games. And of course the museum is open. We have fantastic concession stands with great food.
Come and join us on July 1st to celebrate our pioneer heritage in a friendly atmosphere, we offer a fun and enjoyable day out for the whole family.
